Sommelier Room & Didactic Wine Cellar

For the Sommelier Course and the Alma Wine Academy Alma has expressly dedicated two new innovative spaces, featuring special technology to create a unique setting for the training.
The up-to-date Sommelier Room and Didactic Wine Cellar guarantee each participant the use of special surroundings for everything to do with teaching sommelier skills and wines.

Sommelier Room

The Sommelier Room contains 21 workstations created by Electrolux to a design by Alma, and boasts every kind of instrument to ensure top-level teaching.
Each workplace is equipped with a personal computer connected to Internet, a technical tasting area, a box to get rid of wine that has been tasted and individual lighting.

Wine Cellar

The wine cellar, settled in the basement of the 18th Century Reggia, includes a collection of Italian wines, and is specially conceived by ALMA to best represent wines and producers of every Italian region. It will be equipped with an innovative research system, based on a peculiar use of light.
