17th Edition of ALMA Advanced Course in Italian Cuisine
On Tuesday, February 28th, the 17th edition of ALMA Advanced Course of Italian Cuisine, representing the core of ALMA didactic offer, was officially opened and welcomed 115 students and aspiring chefs.
Students come from all over Italy, and four students respectively from Croatia, Germany, Poland and Venezuela; this time they were split into six sections to facilitate the training.
While greeting the students, the President of ALMA Albino Ivardi Ganapini, underlined that the next 10 months represent a real challenge, for both theory and practice at ALMA and internship are demanding: «You will be meeting some of the greatest Italian chefs and to develop specific skills, for a better chance to start a future career as professionals».
This concept was reinforced by ALMA Managing Director Riccardo Carelli, who introduced ALMA staff members to the students, starting with Headmaster Luciano Tona and Executive Manager Andrea Sinigaglia, and chef instructors Marco Soldati, Tiziano Rossetti, Silvio Salmoiraghi and Michel Magada, who will be students’ referent during the five-month in-school period.
Headmaster Luciano Tona explained how important is students’ commitment and seriousness for achieving the best results in this profession.
