2/3 years of experience in a professional cuisine

“Like an Italian” is the one of the short-courses made by ALMA, dedicated to international students in Culinary Arts and young Chefs with 2/3 years of experience who wish to approach the Italian basics, explore the country and discover the excellences of Italian Gastronomy in a brand new way.

Structured in 2 weeks of residential phase in ALMA and a 1 optional month of traineeship, “Like an Italian”, following the “ALMA Method”, combines:

Field trips around the Italian Food Valley
Cooking practice and recipes
Masterclasses
Wine lessons
Demo and tasting lesson
Food studies

Students will be immersed in the heart of Italian gastronomy, culture, and hospitality, experiencing firsthand what makes Italian cuisine so extraordinary.
At ALMA, they will learn from renowned chefs and industry experts and explore the secrets behind Italy’s most iconic food and wine traditions. This course represents a unique opportunity to visit some of Italy’s most esteemed food producers, gaining insight into their craftsmanship, passion, and dedication to excellence.
