A week in the life of ALMA for those who deserve it most.

ALMA offers a training experience intended for graduates from hospitality and catering colleges who have excelled during their programme of studies.

A week devoted to training and development, including theory lessons on the history and culture of Italian cuisine, practical cookery demonstrations and educational visits exploring the Food Valley.


  • The Course “Introduction to ALMA” consists of practical and theory lessons held by our own tutors and / or special guests, as well as educational trips to the food valley (Parma and surroundings)
  • Each summer, from Monday to Friday, generally the first week of August
  • The Course is limited to 20 cooking and 20 waiting students from Italian hotel and catering schools with strong CVs and recommended by catering colleges or winners of ALMA cookery competitions.

The ALMA Summer School is also open to anyone who wishes, through this experience, to get a taste of ALMA, to make an informed choice for their professional career.
