After obtaining a technical commercial diploma in his hometown of Viadana (MN), he began working in the import sector at IGAP before finally entering the world of wine and oenology, first as manager of the Metro wine shop in Parma, then working directly in wine shops around the city.
After graduating as an AIS Sommelier and Official Taster, since 2006 he has been an independent taster and trainer for “Calicivivi” and a lecturer in Italian oenography and sommelierie at ALMA.
His experiences and collaborations include working with Gruppo Feltrinelli and Food Genius Academy, founding and coordinating the “Osservatorio del Lambrusco”, providing food and wine consultancy services to restaurants and organising training courses and monographic tastings, collaborating with Slow Food’s Slow-Wine guide (South Tyrol and Friuli), the Guida Vini Buoni d’Italia and the Guida Duemilavini A.I.S.
A music lover, he is the lead singer and founder of the bands “Crazy Legs”, “Duel”, “Sparklin” Groove’ and “Finkedura”.
